Research:
Effects of doping lead telluride (PbTe) with copper (Cu) on thermoelectric performance. PbTe is a well-studied mid-range temperature (600-800 K) thermoelectric material. According to recent studies, introducing Cu atoms to the system is beneficial to the optimal thermoelectric properties: high electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient and low thermal conductivity.

The primary goal is enhancing PbTe thermoelectric properties by controlling nucleation and growth processes of second phase containing Cu.
