Research:
Controlling thermoelectric (TE) transport in the Bi/In-Te system by Sb alloying. Bi2Te3 stands out as a crucial material for TE applications, particularly in the vicinity of room temperatures. Indium (In) has a crucial role in enhancing TE properties by introducing In2Te3 lamellar-shaped precipitates inside the Bi2Te3 matrix. The primary goal is to explore the influence of antimony (Sb) co-doping on the microstructure of the Bi2Te3-In2Te3 system and the corresponding influence on the TE properties.
